Fall 2024 Training Accident: While training at the Triumph practice facility in Georgia, Benek crashed, resulting in a broken wrist, a head injury, and damage above his knee. He underwent treatment and rehabilitation to recover from these injuries.
Gopher Dunes Crash: In July 2024, during a race at Gopher Dunes, Benek crashed hard, leading to a hospital visit to ensure his neck and back were unharmed. Fortunately, no fractures were found, and he focused on recovery.

As of May 2025, Benek continues to compete at a high level:
450 Supercross Debut: He made his debut in the 450 class at the Denver Supercross, riding a Triumph motorcycle. This event also marked the first time a Triumph had been raced in the 450 class in Supercross.
